International Fashion & Textile Congress in Indonesia: IAF celebrates 40th World Fashion Convention

From October 24–25, 2025, the 40th edition of the IAF World Fashion Convention will take place in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, alongside the ITMF Annual Conference. Jointly organized by the International Apparel Federation (IAF) and the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF), this landmark event will bring together global leaders from across the fashion and textile industry.

Theme: Navigating Uncertainty & Adopting Technology
Under the theme “Navigating Uncertainty & Adopting Technology – Pathways to Sustainable Strength in the Textile and Apparel Industry”, the convention will explore the key drivers of innovation, sustainability, and collaboration shaping the industry’s future.

The program features a rich lineup of high-level sessions, including:

  • Deep dives into natural and man-made fibers, highlighting innovation and market dynamics.
  • Discussions on AI and digitalization, and how new technologies are transforming global supply chains.
  • Panels on sustainability and regulation, addressing trade, tariffs, and emerging business models.
  • Decarbonization initiatives, featuring perspectives from brands, manufacturers, and national strategies.
  • The ITMF Start-up Awards and Sustainability & Innovation Awards, showcasing pioneering solutions for the sector.

In addition to the conference sessions, delegates will experience Indonesia’s cultural heritage, including a Royal Welcome Dinner at Yogyakarta Palace, a Gala Dinner at Prambanan Temple, and optional visits to Borobudur Temple and leading Indonesian manufacturers Pan Brothers and Dan Liris.
